LIVE FOR THE SAKE OF THE OLD!

Think that your life is controlled or shaped by the old people’s decision, what would you feel? Are you bored or enjoyed while someone deciding instead of you? I think it would be boring because life conditions are always changing. While life is changing, there are some problems or issues that older and younger generations disagree on.
Firstly, older generation think that they know best. They want the younger generation to benefit from all of their ideas, life experiences. Of course, there are some issues that we need their experiences urgently but not every time or in everywhere. Because the young are different from they were it is not possible to live like them. For example; in the period of the old, they had more strict rules to obey like office hours. But now it is known that if people are given more freedom, they will be more effective in the working area.
Secondly, younger generation think that the old should not give advice to them. As life conditions changed, life-style of the old is not suitable for today’s world. Even, the young believe that the old should ask advice from the young because their experiences do not work in today’s world. They think that so far older generation’s advices, life experiences and material based thoughts haven’t been effective to solve the problems so; it is the turn of the younger generation and their advices.
Finally, the old and the young‘s point of view is different from each other. Something was wrong in the past can be true today. For instance; now, enjoyment is the most normal and common necessity but in the past it was regarded as a sin. Because in today’s world there are not so much restrictions, it is easier to enjoy the life than the past.
In conclusion, as the young are more educated and have more freedom, they are more independent while expressing their ideas. They have more self-confidence and they can resist to any problem easily. So, the young know best and they should live for themselves not for the sake of the any other people.

WOMEN ARE EQUAL!

Population of the world is increasing day by day. Also their education level is getting higher. As you know, if peace is wanted in a place, there must be more human rights, especially for women.
It is believed that women are equal in our world but it is not so. In fact men have never seen women equal to them. Men have never behaved women as equally. They only think that women are essential for certain works, like rearing up children and doing housework. They do not believe that women are essential for everything. For example, they think that driving is not suitable for women because of their excessive carefulness.
They also believe that certain occupations like politics, military must be done only by men because of women’s weak character. But all of them know that women are successful enough to deal with these duties.
Another thought of men about women is, women are weak creature, that is, they are too emotional to accomplish anything. But if some controls were given to women, they will success a lot of things.
In conclusion, women are not regarded equal as if it seems. To tell the truth, all men know that women are superior to them, but they cannot confess. I think that they are afraid of women’s witch powers!

SOMEONE IS MONITORING US!

If you hear that you are monitored every moment, are you bored? Yes, perhaps in a few years, chips will be common in our life and our movements can be controlled every time. It is a small and an ID coded technology. And these days a company is trying to develop a microchip to implant on humans, so there is a discussion about its usefulness.
Chip is helpful for health services. If someone had an accident, it would be useful to identify the patient quickly and this would be helpful for doctors to have information about the patient, like blood type.
It will be essential for hospitals. For instance, it can be indispensable for accidental switches or baby kidnappings because babies are controlled every time by it. Also it can be used in crucial events like plane accident in military. There will be a chip on the pilot; so he or she may be rescued at an accident easily.
Of course, it has downside, too. For example, people will always be controlled while walking, talking or wandering around. You will know that someone is always monitoring you. I think this can be boring and anxious for everyone of us.
In conclusion, I think it is a good idea using chips. Because we are living in a world in which there is not enough security and there have been many dangerous events. And we need to know people quickly in a trouble time with chips or any other technologies. So it is a crucial requirement.

INDISPENSABLE OCCUPATION

Can you say me an alternative hobby to spend our free time instead of watching TV? I think you cannot say because television has become an indispensable occupation in our life. We cannot give up it whether it has some advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly I want to talk about its advantages. We become aware of the world if we watch news. Also we can learn a lot of things from the TV. For example, while watching documents, we have chance to see different things or objects (like animals, countries…).
Also there are some disadvantages of TV. For example, we spend much of our time by watching it so we became addicted to it. We forget to do our duties properly and on time because we do not have enough time to do it! But we have a lot of time to watch programs, soap operas. I mean that we are becoming lazy and passive nations.
Another disadvantage of television is, it kills or reduces our creativity. When we sit in our armchairs to watch it, we do not want to think another thing. We only focused on it. For instance, housewives spend most of their time by watching it. Even they can forget their meals in oven and burn it while watching it.
The most important disadvantage of the TV is, it can affect children badly. Because it has violence, it can damage them. There are so much unsuitable programs that children stuck by them and they become fans of them. They behave as they are not in their real life. They take actress as model for themselves.
In conclusion, television’s disadvantages are much more than its advantages. But that doesn’t mean you must not watch it. Of course, you will watch it because it is a necessary technology in today’s world. I mean that do not allow it to direct your life, you direct it!

AN APPROACH TO TEACHING

Do you want to learn English or another language effectively? Yes, I think in today’s world you can learn. It is no longer a dream to learn it easily since there are a lot of language teaching techniques like Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). It is one of the most effective language teaching methods. Now, I will explain the reason why it is so effective.
First reason of this effectiveness is that this kind of teaching techniques dialogues and interaction with other people are important. That is, you won’t have to memorize everything. You learn it while communicating with the people around you. For example, you can teach your students a foreign language while talking. Also, this makes your students courageous to communicate with foreign people.
The second reason is that students learn the language by trying. When students try to learn English they can make some errors and these errors contribute to learning language and they can use different communication startegies to become creative. Also, they will learn to take risks when learning another language. The more they take risks, the better they will learn.
Finally, since you are always struggling to communicate, you will learn to use target language correctly. If you use it correctly you will be fluent, too. Fluency in a language is one of the most important items. So with the help of this method you will learn to be fluent and communicate with the other people easily.
In conclusion, Communicating Language Teaching is one of the best teaching approaches in a language since it gives you a lot of opportunities to develop yourself while talking. As it is an effective method, it is also used for teaching other languages. As you know, in our today’s world the important thing is not what you learned, the important thing is how you learned.

A PASSAGE FOR CULTURES AROUND THE WORLD

Language is a means of understanding or not understanding each other. We must use a language to see if we can understand each other or not. Furthermore, we must use a language to communicate with each other, too. If we want to get along with the people around the world, we again must use a language but a common language like English. Actually English is very important for us. Because almost all of the world population knows English or at least they are familiar with it. Of course, there are people who can speak other languages like Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, etc. However it is a requirement to speak English as a known language to share something with the other people. The other cause for learning English is that culture. We can learn a lot of things about people’s, societies’ or even a country’s culture by learning English. I don’t mean adapting that culture by learning it. I mean that by learning English we can look the world in a different view point and we can compare our cultures with the others. For example, you can compare your film stars talents with world stars’s by knowing English since they talk English while communicating with each other. Finally, learning English has another advantage in technology. For example, you can learn a lot of information about the world by using internet. As English is the language of the internet world, you can use of internet very easily. In conclusion, to understand people who live around the world and to learn new cultures English is very important. As you see, English is critically important for us. CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY
Art is a means of telling our emotions, thoughts and imaginations enthusiastically by using some materials like paper, stone, and clay. By using these materials, you can create different worlds depending on their similarities and differences.
As both painting and sculpture are two kinds of art, they have some similarities and differences. For example, both of them have to use a specific material such as paper and stone or clay. With the help of these materials, they gain meaning. But you can not use one material instead of other material. As the structures of their materials are different, they are peculiar to the arts that you use.
Another example of similarity between them is both art and sculpture must give an esthetic pleasure to the person who looks them. Because people want to find something on them which resembles themselves, they are always looking for this trait. However they can give you an esthetic pleasure, your feelings towards them are different. For example, you can feel it by touching the statue but this is difficult for painting.
In conclusion, both painting and sculpture are the examples of the most important and beautiful kinds of art. You can feel different things while looking them because almost all of kinds of arts have the feature of reflecting at least one of the human’s traits. Be sure that if you try to look them with this thought, you can see one of yours too.
